There was a time when I was on the hunt for the perfect mojito. The best one I’ve ever had was in Hawaii and after taking my first sip, I knew that I had to create one just like it since I’m unable to fly to Hawaii whenever I’m in the mood for a mojito…Honestly, I prefer to make them at home now because I can use natural sweeteners instead of cane sugar and I can make sure they have proper mint flavor. It’s such a bummer to pay $8+ for a drink that’s not minty enough! Traditionally, mojitos are made with white rum, but because I usually have vodka on hand, I just use that. I recommend giving this tasty drink a try, with alcohol or not!
